2012 Chrysler 300

The 2012 Chrysler 300 has been named one of the “10 Best Family Car of 2012” by Kelley Blue Book. With the best in safety features and creature comforts, the 2012 Chrysler 300 keeps getting better and better. If offers a comfortable ride, a quiet interior, powerful performance, luxurious materials and all-wheel drive options, along with Dr. Dre Beats audio sound system with a built in sub.

A few upgrades have been made to keep the Chrysler 300 looking fresh and innovative. An eight-speed automatic transmission is now available with the V6 engine, which can also now be paired with all-wheel drive. There are also three new/returning models: 300S, 300 Luxury Series and the SRT8. A smaller touchscreen interface is now standard with the Base and Limited models.

The safety features are outstanding to ensure the safety of your loved ones. Standard on every 2012 Chrysler 300: antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag and active front head restraints. The SafetyTec package adds a blind-spot warning system, a cross-path warning system (alerts the driver to cross traffic while backing up) and a forward collision warning system. A rearview camera is also available.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 may be a family sedan, but it sure doesn’t look like one. A sporty/muscular exterior demands attention. High-roller alloy wheels, an impressive front grille, tinted windows and sleek design lines make an outstanding package.

The interior has as much detail as the exterior. You will enjoy fine materials, an advanced centre console and controls, a plethora of space, an extremely quiet smooth ride and an amazing sound system that won’t leave you wanting more.

The available models are: Base, Limited, S V6, C, S V8, C Luxury Series, and the SRT8.

You will definitely feel the power of this full size sedan. New to this year is the V6 engine being in the base model. The V6 still offers plenty of power, but now it offers a quieter ride and a better fuel economy than the usual V8. No need to worry if you want the prowess of the V8, other models come standard with this behemoth engine.

2012 Chrysler 300 Engine

There are three 2012 engines that are available with the Chrysler 300:

  • 3.6L Pentastar V6: a quieter ride that generates 292 horsepower and 260lb-feet of torque.
  • 5.7L HEMI VVT V8 with Fuelsaver MDS Techology: 363 horsepower and 394lb-feet of torque.
  • 6.4L HEMI V8: 465 horsepower and 470lb-feet of torque, it goes from 0-100km in under five seconds.

The 2012 fuel economy is admirable for the power the Chrysler 300 produces (L/100km (MPG)):

  • 3.6L Pentastar V6: city 7.6 (18) and highway 7.3 (39)
  • 5.7L HEMI VVT V8 with Fuelsaver MDS Technology: city 6.8 (16) and highway 8.0 (35)
  • 6.4L HEMI V8 with over 400 horses: city 6.4 (15) and highway 8.7 (32)

The 2012 Chrysler 300 is a sedan that has continued to impress drivers everywhere. This year offers more options to keep drivers coming back and catching the eyes of others. Power and presence are the two words that best describe this power hound of a sedan.
