2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid Exterior

Ford has broken the hybrid mold with the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid, providing a stylish, roomy sedan with plenty of features that proves you can still have a great time behind the wheel while being gentle on the environment. Featuring a highly economical engine, the Fusion Hybrid also brings along Ford’s reliability and its cutting edge comforts and conveniences. Three trim levels are available in the new Fusion Hybrid: S, SE, and Titanium.

Sophistication Meets Sensible

Very little differs on the exterior from the standard Fusion to the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The four-door Hybrid features the same handsome sculpted lines, aggressive grille, and sporty hood as the standard Fusion, providing a somewhat European feel. This is seen further in the proportions of the Fusion Hybrid, well-balanced with a curving roofline and short decklid, and featuring front and rear ends that are upright when seen in profile, adding height to the vehicle. An available decklid spoiler, two different wheel choices, and a varied colour palette all make personalizing the exterior that much easier. Available fog lamps help you to see and be seen in poor weather, while powered, heated sideview mirrors help to eliminate blind spots and also repel icing and frost in the winter time. A power moonroof is also available for more sun and a breeze when the weather gets warmer.

Choose from three different upholstery choices to cover the five-passenger seating layout in the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid – cloth, a unique EcoCloth with REPREVE fabric, and leather. Passenger volume is amongst the best in class, with ample leg room in the rear seats and even more in the front. Even with this amount of cabin space, there is still 340 litres of luggage capacity, plenty for vacation luggage or regular grocery runs. Heated seating is available which is great for winter, while a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel add a touch of class to the interior. The latest SYNC with MyFord Touch system is the star of the information and entertainment menu, featuring an 8-inch colour LCD touch screen that sits at the top of the centre stack. This system includes a media hub with a pair of USB ports and an SD card reader. SYNC is voice-activated, so you never have to take your focus off of the road, and you can navigate through audio and information using these voice controls. If you select the optional navigation system, it is voice-activated as well. Upgrade the standard audio system to a 12-speaker Sony audio system, and add SiriusXM satellite radio for more entertainment options.

Efficient and Enjoyable

Improved fuel economy shouldn’t take the enjoyment out of driving a vehicle, and the engineers behind the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid have ensured that result. This sedan still provides plenty of power, sharp handling, and a smooth ride, being at home on the highway as well as in the urban environment. Regenerative braking helps to capture the brake energy, recharging the battery to increase the efficiency of the hybrid system.
